Role and Core Responsibilities

The Housekeeper is responsible for cleaning and maintaining all assigned areas of the hotel, ensuring they meet the highest standards of cleanliness and presentation, and contributing directly to guest satisfaction.

Guest Room Cleaning:

Clean and service assigned guest rooms according to established procedures and time standards (e.g., stripping beds, making beds, dusting, vacuuming, mopping floors).

Thoroughly clean and disinfect guest bathrooms and replenish amenities (toiletries, towels, etc.).

Check room furniture, fittings, and equipment for damage or malfunction and report issues promptly to the supervisor.

Ensure all in-room supplies (minibar items, stationery, water bottles) are replenished as per hotel standards.

Public Area Maintenance:

Clean and maintain public areas of the hotel, including hallways, elevators, stairwells, lobbies, and common restrooms.

Assist in cleaning meeting rooms or banquet areas as needed.

Linen and Supply Management:

Collect and transport soiled linen for laundry and distribute fresh linen.

Manage and maintain the cleanliness of the housekeeping cart and service closets.

Monitor inventory and report when supplies (cleaning agents, guest amenities, linens) are running low.

Safety and Security:

Follow all hotel safety and security procedures, especially regarding the use of cleaning chemicals and handling guest property.

Immediately report any unusual or suspicious activities, guest issues, or lost and found items.

Teamwork and Standards:

Cooperate with the Front Desk and Maintenance departments to respond to guest requests quickly and efficiently.

Adhere to all health, safety, and hygiene regulations mandated by the hotel.

Required Skills and Qualifications

Experience: Minimum of 1 year of proven experience in housekeeping, preferably within a hotel, resort, or similar commercial setting.

Job Types: Full-time, Permanent

Pay: ₹8,086.00 - ₹20,000.00 per month
