We are hiring dedicated and hardworking Guest House Cleaners (Male) for our company guest house located in Rayagada. The person must be responsible, sincere, and take complete ownership of keeping the guest house clean, hygienic, and well-maintained at all times. This is a full-time duty-based role, with flexible timing based on guest arrivals and departures.
Roles & Responsibilities:
ROOM CLEANING & HOUSEKEEPING:
Clean and mop all guest rooms, common areas, corridors, and stairs every day.
Make beds neatly and change bed sheets, pillow covers, and blankets regularly.
Dust furniture, windows, fans, lights, switches, doors, and remove cobwebs.
Spray room fresheners and keep the rooms pleasant, hygienic, and guest-ready.
Maintain cleanliness of guest luggage racks, wardrobes, tables, etc.
BATHROOM & TOILET SANITATION:
Clean bathrooms and toilets daily using proper disinfectants.
Scrub tiles, clean taps, basins, mirrors, exhaust fans, and dry wet areas.
Refill hand wash, soaps, air fresheners, toilet paper, napkins, etc.
Remove stains, hard water marks, and keep everything dry and shining.
CLOTH WASHING, DRYING & IRONING:
Operate the washing machine to wash guest linen, towels, and other clothes.
Dry clothes in designated area properly and fold them neatly after drying.
Iron and press clothes (bedsheets, pillow covers, curtains, uniforms, etc.).
Store clean, pressed clothes properly in the shelves.
KITCHEN & UTENSIL CLEANING:
Sweep and mop the kitchen daily. Clean kitchen slab, sink, stove, and tiles.
Wash used utensils, plates, and glasses after meals or after guests leave.
Keep storage racks clean, dry, and free from insects or food waste.
Throw garbage daily, clean dustbins, and wash them once a week.
FRIDGE & APPLIANCE CLEANING:
Defrost and clean refrigerator every week. Arrange items neatly.
Clean water filters, electric kettle, microwave, and mixer as required.
Keep all appliances clean, dust-free, and in working condition.
GARBAGE COLLECTION & DISPOSAL
Collect dry and wet waste separately from rooms, kitchen, and bathrooms.
Empty all dustbins daily and clean them with disinfectant.
Dispose garbage outside at the designated area as per timing.
Ensure no smell, litter, or dirt is left inside guest house premises.
GENERAL HOUSEKEEPING:
Maintain cleanliness in verandahs, balconies, compound, and entrance gate.
Water indoor and outdoor plants (if present).
Maintain proper storage of cleaning materials, tools, and dusters.
Immediately inform the supervisor if there is any repair, leakage, or damage.
ELIGIBILITY & WORK BEHAVIOUR:
Must be punctual, disciplined, and physically fit.
Should be honest, dependable, and maintain full confidentiality.
Must behave respectfully with guests and other staff.
Must follow daily cleaning schedules without fail.
No alcohol, no misuse of guest property, and no misconduct will be tolerated.
Should be available during early morning or late evening hours as per need.
Experience in guest house, hotel, or office housekeeping is preferred.
WORK TIMING:
Full-time duty: 10 to 12 hours per day (flexible as per guest movements)
Must be available early morning or late evening if guests arrive / depart
