Job Description

The Housekeeping Worker is responsible for maintaining cleanliness, hygiene, and tidiness within the organization's premises. The role ensures a clean, safe, and pleasant environment for employees, visitors, and clients by following established cleaning schedules and company standards.

Clean, sweep, mop, and vacuum floors, corridors, and office spaces. Dust and wipe furniture, windows, doors, and other surfaces. Maintain cleanliness of washrooms, ensuring availability of toiletries (soap, tissue, etc.). Empty and dispose of trash bins regularly. Disinfect frequently touched surfaces to maintain hygiene. Handle basic housekeeping equipment (mops, vacuum cleaners, cleaning agents, etc.). Report any maintenance issues or damages to the supervisor immediately. Follow safety and sanitation standards at all times. Assist in setting up meeting rooms, furniture, or arrangements when required. Ensure proper usage and storage of cleaning materials and supplies.
