Job Description

A housekeeper is responsible for maintaining a clean, organized, and sanitary environment within residential homes, hotels, hospitals, or commercial establishments. The role involves a combination of cleaning, organizing, and managing household or facility maintenance tasks to ensure comfort and hygiene for residents or guests.

Key Responsibilities

Perform general cleaning tasks such as sweeping, vacuuming, mopping, dusting, and polishing surfaces. Clean bathrooms, kitchens, and living areas; disinfect high-touch surfaces. Change and launder bed linens, towels, and other fabrics; maintain wardrobes and linen closets. Dispose of trash and recyclables, and handle basic maintenance or report issues to supervisors. Restock cleaning supplies and household consumables as needed. Organize storage areas, closets, and pantries for orderliness. Assist with guest or client needs, providing courteous service in residential or hospitality environments .
