Job Description

We are seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Housekeeping Assistant to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for maintaining a clean, safe, and comfortable environment in line with hygiene and cleanliness standards. This role is essential in providing a welcoming atmosphere for clients, guests, or residents.

Key Responsibilities

Perform general cleaning tasks including sweeping, mopping, vacuuming, dusting, and sanitizing surfaces

Clean and disinfect bathrooms, kitchens, and common areas

Change linens, make beds, and replenish supplies

Properly handle and store cleaning products and equipment

Report maintenance issues or safety hazards to supervisors promptly

Ensure all cleaning duties are completed to a high standard and within given timeframes

Follow all health, safety, and hygiene regulations

Requirements and Qualifications

Previous housekeeping or cleaning experience preferred (but not required)

Strong attention to detail and commitment to cleanliness

Ability to work independently or as part of a team

Good time management and organizational skills

Physical ability to perform manual tasks and stand for long periods

Reliable, punctual, and trustworthy
