Job Summary:

The Housekeeping Attendant is responsible for maintaining cleanliness, hygiene, and orderliness of assigned areas to ensure a safe, clean, and pleasant environment for guests, staff, or residents.

Key Responsibilities:

Clean, sanitize, and tidy guest rooms, offices, restrooms, and common areas as per company standards. Replace linens, restock supplies (toiletries, cleaning materials, etc.), and ensure adequate inventory levels. Handle laundry services including washing, drying, ironing, and folding as needed. Dispose of trash and recyclables properly. Report any maintenance issues, damages, or safety hazards to the supervisor immediately. Follow all safety and hygiene guidelines. Operate cleaning equipment (vacuum, floor scrubber, etc.) safely and effectively. Ensure lost and found procedures are followed correctly. Maintain confidentiality and respect guest/resident privacy at all times. Assist with special cleaning projects or deep-cleaning schedules when required.

Qualifications and Skills:

High School Diploma or equivalent preferred. Proven experience in housekeeping or cleaning services (hotel, hospital, office, etc.). Knowledge of cleaning chemicals, supplies, and proper handling procedures. Good physical stamina and ability to perform repetitive tasks. Attention to detail and strong organizational skills. Ability to work independently or as part of a team. Basic understanding of health and safety regulations.

Work Conditions:

May require standing, bending, and lifting throughout the shift. Flexible to work weekends, holidays, and varying shifts.

Performance Indicators:

Cleanliness and presentation of assigned areas. Timely completion of cleaning tasks. Compliance with safety and hygiene standards. Guest/resident satisfaction feedback.

Pay: ₹21,000.00 - ₹24,000.00 per month
