Job Summary:

Portico Service Apartments is seeking dedicated and detail-oriented

Housekeeping Staff

to ensure our apartments and common areas remain clean, comfortable, and welcoming for our guests. The ideal candidate will have a strong work ethic and a commitment to maintaining high standards of cleanliness and hygiene.

Key Responsibilities:

Cleaning and Maintenance:

Clean and sanitize guest apartments, including bedrooms, living areas, and kitchens. Ensure thorough cleaning and maintenance of

toilets, showers, and washbasins.

Dust, mop, vacuum, and sweep all rooms and common areas. Change bed linens, replace towels, and restock toiletries as needed. Empty trash bins and ensure proper disposal of waste.

Common Area Management:

Clean and maintain

lobbies, hallways, staircases, and other shared spaces.

Ensure common areas are neat, well-organized, and free from clutter.

Guest Experience:

Address guest requests for additional cleaning or supplies promptly and professionally. Report any maintenance issues (e.g., broken fixtures, leaks) to the supervisor.

Hygiene and Safety:

Follow all housekeeping and sanitation procedures to maintain a hygienic environment. Adhere to safety guidelines when using cleaning equipment and chemicals.

Requirements:

Prior housekeeping experience in hotels, service apartments, or a similar setting is preferred but not mandatory. Knowledge of cleaning techniques, equipment, and materials. Attention to detail and commitment to maintaining high standards of cleanliness. Physical stamina to handle repetitive tasks and lift/move light furniture if required. Good time-management skills to complete tasks efficiently.
