Oversee smooth daily functioning of the residence, ensuring
5-star hospitality standards
at all times
Manage housekeeping, kitchen, service staff, drivers, security, and external vendors
Ensure all areas of the house are impeccably maintained, organized, and guest-ready
2. Staff Management & Leadership
Recruit, train, schedule, supervise, and evaluate all domestic staff
Set SOPs for housekeeping, service, grooming, and etiquette
Conduct daily briefings and ensure discipline, efficiency, and professionalism
Handle staff attendance, leave planning, replacements, and conflict resolution
3. Vendor & Maintenance Oversight
Manage vendors for housekeeping supplies, laundry, landscaping, pest control, AMC services, etc.
Coordinate maintenance of electrical, plumbing, HVAC, elevators, appliances, and smart-home systems
Maintain service contracts, warranties, and renewal schedules
4. Guest, Event & Hospitality Management
Plan and coordinate family gatherings, VIP guests, and private events
Ensure flawless service, table settings, menu coordination, and staff deployment
Coordinate with chefs, decorators, security teams, and external agencies when required
5. Inventory, Budgeting & Procurement
Maintain inventory of household supplies, linen, crockery, cutlery, uniforms, and assets
Prepare monthly budgets and expense tracking reports
Handle purchasing while ensuring cost control without compromising quality
6. Security, Privacy & Confidentiality
Coordinate with security teams to ensure safety of family, guests, and property
Enforce strict confidentiality regarding family matters, movements, and lifestyle
Manage access control, visitor logs, and emergency protocols
7. Travel & Logistics Support
Assist with travel planning, luggage management, house readiness during arrivals/departures
Coordinate temporary staff and logistics during travel or extended stays
Ensure house closure/opening protocols are followed
8. Documentation & Reporting
Maintain household manuals, SOPs, staff records, and vendor databases
Provide regular operational reports to the Principal or Family Office
Handle insurance documentation and compliance requirements
Key Skills & Competencies:
Minimum
8-15 years of experience
as a House Manager / Estate Manager
Experience working with
HNI / Celebrity / Corporate Promoter families
preferred
Strong leadership, multitasking, and problem-solving skills
Excellent communication in
English & Hindi
(additional languages a plus)
High emotional intelligence, discretion, and service mindset
Proficient in MS Office / basic digital tools
