Job Description

House Manager



We are seeking an educated, detail-oriented, and highly organized individual to manage household, family, and lifestyle responsibilities with efficiency, discretion, and reliability. The role involves coordinating with house staff, supporting family members with small chores, overseeing day-to-day errands, planning nutrition-based menus, managing household purchases and expenses, and ensuring seamless home functioning / maintenance.

Key ResponsibilitiesTravel & Home Organization



Send photos for confirmation before placing uncertain items.Organising all materials, appliances,wardrobes, storage. Travel checklist items arrangement pre travel and removal post ravel Ensure laundry/dry-cleaning is managed post-travel.

Household Supplies & Maintenance



Track and replenish essentials (toiletries, pantry items, grains, household goods). Call for supplies from supermarkets/vendors, ensuring weekly bills are tallied and shared. Organize cupboards, drawers, and personal storage areas to maintain order. Immediately coordinate technicians via online apps for repairs and ensure issues are resolved.

Menu & Nutrition Planning



Plan weekly menus with nutritional balance, in consultation with the employer. Prepare a grocery list with comparative prices. Place supermarket orders, maintain expense records, and submit weekly household expense reports. Instructions to cook

Family & Household Support



Execute errands and purchases for in-laws and parents. Instruct, oversee, and coordinate tasks for house staff, driver, and laundry staff. Ensure all items are placed correctly by household staff after use. Support in daily logistics such as printing, couriering, or arranging small home tasks, online orders.

Gifting & Events



Plan and source gifts, including packaging and assembly. Arrange for couriering gifts and ensure timely delivery. Track incoming parcels and coordinate with an accountant for bill settlement and record-keeping. Help plan and organise home events / work events - Menu / Decor/ Staff coordinations/ Supply management/ Ordering/ Timely delivery/ Manage staff during the event

Procurement & Vendor Management



Research gadgets, appliances, or products as required. Provide 3 shortlisted options with comparative prices, features, and vendor negotiations. Manage external vendor communication, quotations, and service coordination.

Reporting & Systems



Maintain Excel trackers for purchases, expenses, and replenishments. Share structured weekly reports on expenses and tasks completed. Ensure all household systems run in an organized, efficient, and systematic manner.

Event Reinders



Reminders for important tasks/ events / dates Important small coordinations

Organizing



House renovation coordinations House shifting management for family members House detail coordination with architect as per instruction On site visits/ QC visits

Miscellaneous



Any new miscellaneous tasks that come up regarding the home

Requirements



Graduate or equivalent education. Strong organizational and planning skills. Proficiency in Excel and basic reporting. Good written and spoken communication skills. Prior experience as a personal assistant, household manager, or admin/operations role preferred.

Soft Skills



Proactive and solution-oriented. Respectful, empathetic, and discreet. Able to manage multiple priorities calmly and efficiently. Trustworthy and reliable in handling personal and financial matters.
