Supervise and coordinate the activities of housekeeping staff (cleaners, attendants, etc.).
Ensure all hospital areas, including patient rooms, ICUs, OPDs, emergency rooms, and public areas, are cleaned and sanitized according to hospital standards.
Monitor the quality of cleaning and sanitizing performed by the staff.
Ensure compliance with infection prevention and control protocols.
Conduct regular inspections of assigned areas and take corrective actions when necessary.
Train new housekeeping staff on hospital hygiene protocols, equipment usage, and safety procedures.
Maintain cleaning schedules and staff duty rosters.
Ensure proper use and maintenance of cleaning equipment and hospital-grade disinfectants.
Maintain adequate inventory of cleaning supplies and place orders as required.
Report maintenance or safety issues to the relevant department.
Handle staff attendance, performance evaluations, and disciplinary actions if needed.
Collaborate with nursing and administrative departments to address special housekeeping needs.
