Job Title: Housekeeping Manager Experience: 9+ Years Department: Housekeeping / Facility Management Reports To: General Manager / Operations Manager Location: Chennai Job Summary: An experienced and detail-oriented Housekeeping Manager with 9+ years of expertise in managing and supervising housekeeping operations in hospitality, healthcare, or corporate environments. Responsible for ensuring high standards of cleanliness, hygiene, and guest satisfaction by leading a team of housekeeping staff and coordinating with other departments. Key Responsibilities: Lead and manage the housekeeping team, including supervisors, attendants, and laundry staff. Develop and implement cleaning schedules to ensure all areas are maintained to the highest standards. Monitor daily operations and ensure compliance with health, hygiene, and safety standards. Conduct regular inspections of guest rooms, public areas, and back-of-house areas. Manage inventory and ordering of cleaning supplies, linens, and uniforms. Train, motivate, and evaluate staff performance to ensure service excellence. Handle guest complaints and resolve issues related to housekeeping services promptly. Collaborate with maintenance and front office teams to coordinate room readiness. Ensure adherence to company policies and standard operating procedures (SOPs). Develop and manage housekeeping budget and control costs effectively. Maintain records related to staff attendance, training, inspections, and supplies. Oversee laundry operations, including in-house or outsourced services. Implement eco-friendly practices and sustainability initiatives where applicable. Key Skills & Competencies: Strong leadership and team management skills Attention to detail and high standards of cleanliness Excellent communication and interpersonal skills Time management and problem-solving abilities Knowledge of housekeeping chemicals and equipment Familiarity with safety and sanitation regulations Proficient in housekeeping software and MS Office tools Education & Qualifications: Diploma or Degree in Hotel Management or related field Certification in housekeeping or facility management (preferred) 9+ years of progressive experience in housekeeping, with at least 3 years in a managerial/supervisory role Preferred Industries: Hospitality (Hotels, Resorts) Healthcare (Hospitals, Clinics) Corporate (Office Buildings, Commercial Spaces) Educational Institutions.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: ₹700,000.00 - ₹900,000.00 per year
