About the Role

Hotel Vivek is looking for a proactive and experienced

Hotel Sales & Business Development Manager

to lead our sales efforts and drive business growth. This role is exclusively for candidates with proven experience in the

hotel, resort, or hospitality sector

. The ideal candidate will have a strong track record in hotel sales, a robust professional network, and the ability to generate revenue through corporate, leisure, and event bookings.

Key Responsibilities

Develop and implement sales and marketing strategies specifically for hotels and resorts. Build and nurture strong relationships with corporate clients, travel agencies, tour operators, and event planners. Drive revenue through group bookings, leisure packages, conferences, weddings, and other events. Promote hotel facilities for weddings, retreats, and special occasions. Maintain long-term client relationships to ensure repeat business. Prepare accurate sales forecasts, performance reports, and key business metrics. Collaborate closely with operations and front-office teams to ensure excellent guest experiences.

Requirements

Minimum 3 years of

direct experience in hotel or resort sales

(mandatory). Strong professional network within the hospitality and travel industry. Excellent communication, negotiation, and relationship management skills. Demonstrated ability to consistently meet or exceed sales targets. Knowledge of the Coonoor/Ooty hospitality market and local tourism trends.
