The Assistant Sales Manager will be responsible for supporting the hotel's revenue growth by developing and maintaining strong relationships with clients, generating new business opportunities, and ensuring maximum occupancy and revenue from corporate, leisure, and group bookings.
Key Responsibilities:
Assist in creating and implementing sales strategies to achieve hotel revenue targets.
Identify new business opportunities through market research, networking, and client visits.
Manage existing client relationships to ensure repeat business and customer satisfaction.
Support in preparing proposals, contracts, and agreements with corporate clients, travel agents, and event organizers.
Work closely with the Reservations, Front Office, and Banquet teams to ensure smooth execution of bookings and events.
Maintain accurate sales records, prepare reports, and track progress against sales goals.
Represent the hotel at trade shows, exhibitions, and networking events.
Assist the Sales Manager in forecasting, budgeting, and market analysis.
Handle guest queries related to group bookings, events, or corporate tie-ups.
Requirements:
Bachelor's degree in Hospitality Management, Business Administration, or a related field.
Minimum 2-4 years of experience in hotel sales or hospitality business development.
Strong communication, negotiation, and presentation skills.
Proven ability to achieve sales targets and build long-term client relationships.
Knowledge of local market trends and competitor analysis.
Proficiency in MS Office and hotel PMS/CRM systems.
