Key Responsibilities

:

Guest Services: Greet guests warmly, check them in/out, assign rooms, issue keys, handle messages, and provide wake-up calls. Reservations: Manage bookings and cancellations via phone, email, and online systems, ensuring accurate record-keeping. Communication: Operate multi-line phones, transfer calls, and relay guest requests to housekeeping, maintenance, and other staff. Financial Transactions: Process payments (cash, credit cards), verify credit card details, post charges (room service, spa), and prepare bills. Information & Concierge: Answer questions about hotel facilities, local attractions, transport, and arrange services like taxis or theatre tickets. Administrative Duties: Maintain a tidy front desk, update guest records, perform data entry, and handle general office tasks. Problem Solving: Address guest complaints and special requests professionally and promptly, escalating when necessary. Sales: Upsell hotel services, rooms, and facilities to enhance guest stays.

Essential Skills:



Strong customer service, communication, and interpersonal skills. Ability to multitask and stay calm under pressure. Proficiency with hotel management software and general computer skills. Attention to detail for accurate billing and record-keeping. A friendly, welcoming, and professional demeanor.
