The Receptionist is responsible for managing front-desk operations, attending to visitors and guests, handling hall and room bookings, and ensuring smooth communication between guests, management, and service staff. The role requires excellent communication, organization, and customer service skills to create a welcoming and professional atmosphere for all clients and guests.
Key Responsibilities:
Greet and assist visitors, guests, and event organizers courteously.
Manage hall and room booking schedules (including check-ins, check-outs, and reservations).
Provide information about hall facilities, room availability, pricing, and services.
Maintain accurate booking records, guest details, and payment logs.
Handle phone calls, emails, and walk-in inquiries professionally.
Coordinate with housekeeping and maintenance teams for room readiness and event setups.
Collect and record payments; issue receipts and maintain daily cash reports.
Monitor guest feedback and report issues promptly to management.
Ensure the reception area and front desk are clean, organized, and presentable.
Assist in basic administrative tasks (e.g., filing, record keeping, correspondence).
Support during community events or functions held at the hall.
Skills and Qualifications:
Minimum: High school diploma or equivalent; a diploma in hospitality or office administration is a plus.
Prior experience as a receptionist, front office assistant, or customer service role preferred.
