We are seeking a friendly, professional, and customer-focused
Hotel Receptionist
to join our front office team. The ideal candidate will be the first point of contact for guests, providing a warm welcome and ensuring a smooth check-in and check-out process. You will also handle reservations, respond to inquiries, and assist in creating a memorable guest experience.
Key Responsibilities:
Greet guests warmly and professionally upon arrival and departure.
Handle check-ins and check-outs efficiently using hotel management systems.
Manage reservations via phone, email, and online booking platforms.
Provide accurate information about hotel facilities, services, and local attractions.
Respond promptly to guest inquiries, complaints, and special requests.
Maintain up-to-date records of room availability and guest accounts.
Process payments and issue receipts/invoices.
Coordinate with housekeeping and maintenance teams to ensure room readiness.
Uphold a high standard of customer service and professionalism at all times.
Ensure the front desk area is clean, organized, and presentable.
Requirements:
Proven experience as a receptionist, front desk representative, or similar role (hospitality experience preferred).
High school diploma or equivalent; additional education in hospitality is a plus.
Proficient in MS Office and hotel management software (e.g., OPERA, Cloudbeds).
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
Strong organizational and multitasking abilities.
Flexibility to work in shifts, including weekends and holidays.
Fluency in English; knowledge of additional languages is an advantage.
