The Purchase Executive will be responsible for sourcing and procuring food ingredients, kitchen supplies, housekeeping materials, and other operational requirements for the hotel. The role ensures timely availability of goods at competitive prices while maintaining quality standards and good vendor relationships.
Key Responsibilities
1. Procurement of Hotel Supplies
Purchase food items, beverages, housekeeping materials, kitchen equipment, and general hotel supplies.
Identify reliable suppliers and collect multiple quotations for comparison.
Ensure quality and freshness of perishable items.
2. Purchase Order & Inventory Coordination
Prepare and process purchase orders in coordination with the stores and accounts team.
Maintain minimum stock levels and ensure timely replenishment.
Coordinate with the storekeeper to track daily consumption and inventory levels.
3. Vendor Management
Maintain vendor list and establish strong working relationships.
Follow up with suppliers to ensure timely delivery of goods.
Resolve any issues related to quality, delivery, or billing discrepancies.
Education Qualifications:
Any Degree.
Experience:
0 to 2 years experience in procurement.
Freshers with strong interest in hotel purchasing may apply.
Skills:
Basic understanding of hotel operations and materials.
Good negotiation and communication skills.
Knowledge of MS Excel and basic computer operations
