- The Operations Manager will oversee all operational aspects of The Tamarind Hotel, ensuring exceptional guest experiences, efficient processes and profitability.
Key responsibilities

Oversee daily operations:
Supervise front office, housekeeping, F&B outlets, maintenance and security to ensure smooth functioning.

Guest service:
Maintain high service standards, handle escalated guest issues and ensure positive guest feedback.

Team management:
Recruit, train and motivate staff; develop duty rosters; conduct performance reviews and provide coaching.

Financial management:
Prepare budgets, forecast revenue, control costs, manage procurement and optimize profits.

Compliance:
Ensure compliance with hotel policies, hygiene standards, government regulations and safety protocols.

Coordination:
Liaise with sales/marketing to support promotions and events; work with owners and senior management to implement strategic initiatives.
Qualifications & requirements
- Bachelor's degree or diploma in Hospitality Management or Business Administration.
- Minimum
5 years' experience
in a similar operations role within a hotel or resort. - Proven leadership and team?management skills with the ability to coach and motivate. - Strong knowledge of hotel operations, budgeting, guest service standards and revenue management. - Excellent communication, problem?solving and interpersonal skills. - Familiarity with property management systems (PMS) and MS Office. - Ability to work flexible hours and handle multiple tasks under pressure.
