About the Role
We are looking for an energetic and experienced
Hotel Unit Manager
to lead our
Somnath unit
. The ideal candidate will take complete charge of
day-to-day operations, team leadership, guest satisfaction, cost control, and profitability
of the property, ensuring smooth coordination between all departments and alignment with Omnitel's operational standards.
Key Responsibilities (KRAs)
1. Operations & Administration
Oversee all hotel operations including Front Office, Housekeeping, F&B, Kitchen, and Maintenance.
Ensure standard operating procedures (SOPs) are followed across all departments.
Monitor inventory, maintenance schedules, and cleanliness standards.
Liaise with the central management team for periodic reviews and reporting.
2. Guest Experience & Service Quality
Ensure high levels of guest satisfaction through personalized service and prompt issue resolution.
Track online reviews and feedback on OTA & social media platforms; coordinate service recovery where needed.
Implement guest delight initiatives as per Omnitel brand standards.
3. Team Management
Recruit, train, and motivate the property's operational staff.
Maintain discipline, grooming, and performance evaluation as per company policy.
Lead by example with a hands-on approach during peak hours or special events.
4. Financial Performance
Work with the Accounts team to monitor revenue, expenses, and monthly P&L.
Control operational costs while maintaining quality and efficiency.
Support the sales & marketing team in achieving occupancy and ARR targets.
5. Compliance & Safety
Ensure statutory compliance with FSSAI, Fire & Safety, and other local authorities.
Maintain documentation and internal audit readiness.
Supervise property upkeep, safety, and hygiene standards.
6. Coordination with Head Office
Submit daily/weekly/monthly reports on operations, staff performance, and guest feedback.
Implement management directives and operational improvements.
Act as the single point of contact between property and corporate office.
Requirements
Graduate/Diploma in Hotel Management or equivalent.
Minimum
5 years of experience
in hotel operations or unit management.
Strong leadership, communication, and organizational skills.
Hands-on experience in F&B and Front Office operations preferred.
Proficiency in PMS, Excel reporting, and OTA management.
Local knowledge of Gujarat hospitality market will be an added advantage.
