Job Summary:

The Housekeeping Attendant is responsible for ensuring cleanliness and hygiene in both guest rooms and the hotel's restaurant/dining areas. This includes cleaning tables after guests leave, clearing plates, and maintaining an overall clean and welcoming environment for both rooms and dining spaces.

Key Responsibilities:

Guest Rooms & Public Areas:

Clean and sanitize guest rooms, bathrooms, and assigned public areas. Make beds, change linens, and replenish amenities according to hotel standards. Dust furniture, vacuum carpets, and clean windows, mirrors, and fixtures. Report any maintenance issues or room damage to supervisors. Handle guest requests promptly and respectfully.

Restaurant / Dining Area Duties:

Clear and clean tables immediately after guests leave. Collect used dishes, cutlery, and glasses and transport them to the kitchen. Wipe down and sanitize tables, chairs, and surrounding areas. Re-set tables with clean linen, cutlery, and necessary items for the next guests. Sweep and mop floors during and after service hours. Ensure trash is removed and bins are cleaned and replaced regularly. Assist with basic restaurant setup or cleaning tasks as assigned.
