The General Manager will be the strategic and operational leader of Hotel Sai Residency, responsible for delivering exceptional guest experiences, driving revenue growth, and ensuring smooth day-to-day operations. This role demands a balance of hospitality finesse, financial acumen, and team leadership to uphold the hotel's reputation for comfort, cleanliness, and courteous service.
Key Responsibilities
Guest Experience & Service Excellence
Ensure every guest receives warm, personalized service aligned with the hotel's brand values.
Handle escalated guest concerns with empathy and professionalism.
Monitor online reviews and respond with tact to maintain a positive digital reputation.
Operations & Administration
Oversee all departments including Front Office, Housekeeping, F&B, Maintenance, and Security.
Implement SOPs for daily operations, cleanliness standards, and safety protocols.
Maintain vendor relationships and ensure timely procurement of supplies.
Financial Management
Prepare and manage budgets, forecasts, and P&L statements.
Monitor revenue streams and control costs to maximize profitability.
Ensure accurate billing, daily accounts, and financial reporting.
Team Leadership & HR
Recruit, train, and motivate staff to deliver consistent service.
Conduct performance reviews and foster a culture of accountability and growth.
Ensure compliance with labor laws and workplace safety standards.
Sales, Marketing & Brand Building
Collaborate on marketing campaigns, social media content, and local promotions.
Build relationships with travel agents, corporate clients, and OTA platforms.
Drive occupancy through strategic pricing and seasonal offers.
Legal & Regulatory Compliance
Ensure the hotel complies with all local laws, licenses, and statutory requirements.
Maintain documentation for fire safety, food hygiene, and municipal regulations.
Qualifications & Skills
Bachelor's degree in Hotel Management or related field (preferred).
Minimum 5 years of experience in hotel operations, with at least 2 in a leadership role.
Strong communication, problem-solving, and decision-making skills.
Proficiency in PMS software, MS Office, and OTA management.
Fluent in English, Hindi, and Marathi (preferred).
