The Hotel Floor Supervisor is responsible for overseeing daily housekeeping operations on assigned floors, ensuring rooms and public areas meet the highest cleanliness standards, and managing housekeeping staff performance.
Key Responsibilities:
Supervise and coordinate housekeeping staff to ensure assigned floors are cleaned and maintained properly.
Inspect guest rooms, corridors, and service areas after cleaning to ensure standards are met.
Report maintenance issues, lost and found items, and room status to the appropriate department.
Ensure availability of housekeeping supplies, linen, and cleaning materials on assigned floors.
Train, guide, and monitor room attendants and housekeeping staff.
Coordinate with front office and maintenance teams to ensure room readiness and guest satisfaction.
Maintain proper documentation, including room inspection checklists and staff attendance.
Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations and hotel SOPs.
Qualifications:
2-4 years experience in a supervisory housekeeping role, preferably in a hotel.
Strong attention to detail and ability to lead a team effectively.
Good communication and organizational skills.
Knowledge of cleaning chemicals, equipment, and housekeeping best practices.
Ability to work flexible shifts, including weekends and holidays.
