Oversee day-to-day hostel operations, accommodation, cleanliness, maintenance, and mess facilities.
Ensure timely upkeep of hostel facilities, rooms, and common areas.
Coordinate with housekeeping, security, and maintenance staff.
Oversee meal arrangements and ensure quality, hygiene, and timely service in the mess/cafeteria.
Ensure safety, security, and discipline across hostel premises and enforce hostel rules and regulations.
Address student/resident grievances and provide counseling support.
Manage hostel records, occupancy and reporting.
Supervise wardens, caretakers, housekeeping, and kitchen staff.
Liaise with vendors and ensure upkeep of hostel infrastructure.
Ensure implementation of safety and security protocols (fire safety, entry/exit checks, visitor management).
Conduct regular inspections of hostel premises to identify and address potential risks.
Qualifications & Skills
Graduate in Administration/Management/Hospitality (Master's preferred).
3-7 years of experience in hostel administration or facility management.
Strong leadership, communication, and problem-solving skills.
Knowledge of safety/security protocols and hostel regulations.
Proficiency in MS Office and record-keeping.
