Job Title: Business Development Manager / Executive - Travel & Tourism Location: Andheri West, Mumbai (On-site) Experience: 4 to 6 Years Job Type: Full-Time | Permanent About the Role Host My Trips is a rapidly growing boutique travel company based in Mumbai. We are looking for an experienced and resourceful Business Development Manager/Executive to identify new opportunities, build strong industry partnerships, and drive sustainable business growth. The ideal candidate will have a proven ability to develop new business, on-board hospitality partners, and think strategically to capitalize on emerging market trends. Key Responsibilities - Research and identify new business opportunities - including new markets, growth areas, partnerships, and potential clients. - Approach and connect with hospitality partners, hotels, and institutions for collaboration. - Generate leads and handle cold calling to on-board new travel and hospitality partners. - Meet clients and partners (in person or virtually) to present offerings and close deals. - Build and maintain strong business relationships with clients and partners to ensure long-term collaboration. - Develop and implement effective business growth and sales strategies. - Negotiate pricing and contracts in line with company policy. - Coordinate with internal teams (operations, finance, marketing, and sales) to ensure smooth execution of business deals. - Create and maintain a structured sales pipeline and track progress against targets. - Conduct competitor and market analysis to identify trends and new opportunities. - Prepare regular reports, forecasts, and presentations for senior management. Skills & Competencies - Excellent communication and interpersonal skills. - Strong telephone etiquette and negotiation ability. - Strategic and analytical thinking. - Good IT skills (MS Office, Spreadsheets, CRM tools). - Strong organizational and project management skills. - Initiative, decision-making ability, and leadership qualities. - Capability to multitask and prioritize in a fast-paced environment. - Confident and proactive approach with a strong sense of ownership. Qualifications - Bachelor's Degree in Business, Marketing, or a related field. - MBA preferred but not mandatory. - 2-6 years of experience in Business Development within the Travel, Tourism, or Hospitality sector is mandatory.
