Job Summary



We are looking for an elegant, warm, and guest-focused

Hostess

to be the face of our outlet. The ideal candidate has excellent communication skills, a welcoming personality, and experience managing guest flow in premium casual or fine-dining environments. This role ensures every guest is greeted with professionalism, seated comfortably, and provided with a seamless start to their dining experience.

Key Responsibilities



Guest Reception & Seating



Warmly greet guests upon arrival and create a positive first impression. Manage reservations, walk-ins, and waitlists using the restaurant's reservation system. Escort guests to their tables and provide menus while ensuring smooth seating flow. Organise and maintain the reception area to reflect the bistro's service standards.

Guest Assistance



Provide accurate information on menu offerings, specials, and the dining experience. Handle guest enquiries in person and over the phone with clarity and courtesy. Address guest requests or concerns promptly, escalating to the Floor Supervisor/Manager when needed.

Coordination & Communication



Maintain clear communication with servers, supervisors, and kitchen staff regarding guest flow and seating requirements. Coordinate seating to optimise table turnover while ensuring guest comfort. Participate in pre-service briefings to stay updated on menu changes, events, and reservation notes.

Operational Support



Assist in maintaining the cleanliness and presentation of the entrance and dining areas. Support service teams during busy periods with basic tasks such as offering water or menus. Follow safety, hygiene, and hospitality standards consistently.

Requirements



1-2 years of experience

in a Hostess or guest-facing service role.

2+ years of experience

in the F&B or hospitality industry. Strong communication and interpersonal skills. A warm, polished, and professional demeanour. Ability to multitask and remain composed during high-volume periods. Basic understanding of reservation systems and service etiquette. Flexibility to work evenings, weekends, and holidays.

Preferred



Experience in European, bistro-style, or premium dining restaurants. Knowledge of wines and fine dining culture (an added advantage).

Pay: ?20,000.00 - ?25,000.00 per month
