Greet guests warmly and escort them to their tables.
Manage reservations, waiting lists, and table allocations efficiently.
Maintain professional grooming, body language, and a welcoming smile at all times.
Answer phone calls politely and provide accurate information regarding restaurant services.
Coordinate with the service team to ensure smooth operations and guest comfort.
Handle guest inquiries, complaints, and feedback professionally.
As a Steward:
Take food & beverage orders accurately and relay them to the kitchen/bar.
Serve food and beverages as per hotel standards.
Ensure tables are properly set up, clean, and well-presented.
Assist in clearing tables and resetting them for the next guests.
Follow hygiene, safety, and sanitation standards at all times.
Support banquet events or in-room dining service if required.
Qualifications & Skills:
Minimum qualification: 12th pass / Diploma or Degree in Hotel Management preferred.
Previous experience as Hostess/Steward in a hotel or fine dining restaurant is an advantage.
Excellent communication skills in English (knowledge of other languages is a plus).
Pleasant personality, well-groomed appearance, and positive attitude.
Ability to multitask and work under pressure in a fast-paced environment.
Knowledge of food & beverage menu, wine service, and upselling techniques.
