Key Responsibilities

Guest Interaction:

Greet and welcome

: Provide a warm and friendly first impression to all arriving guests.

Handle reservations

: Manage reservations, both in-person and over the phone, and accurately estimate waiting times for walk-in guests.

Escort to tables

: Guide guests to their designated tables, ensuring they are seated comfortably. Operational Tasks:

Manage seating

: Use seating charts and maintain knowledge of table availability to seat guests efficiently and balance the workload among servers.

Distribute menus

: Offer menus and wine lists to guests, often providing the server's name.

Maintain the host stand

: Keep the reception area and menus clean and organized. Team Support:

Communicate with staff

: Coordinate with wait staff to understand current seating options and the status of tables.

Provide support

: Assist servers with tasks such as refilling drinks, running food, and helping to clear tables during busy periods.

Address inquiries

: Answer customer questions and resolve any complaints, escalating issues to the manager when necessary. Communication:

Phone management

: Answer incoming calls to the restaurant, taking reservations and providing information.

Guest communication

: Page guests for incoming calls or messages, ensuring they are informed.
Job Types: Full-time, Permanent

Pay: ₹11,000.00 - ₹16,000.00 per month
