We are seeking a warm, well-groomed, and customer-focused
Hostess
to be the face of our newly opened Turkish bakery and cafe in Hyderabad. The ideal candidate will be responsible for creating a pleasant first impression, managing guest seating, and ensuring guests feel welcome and well-attended from the moment they arrive.
Key Responsibilities:Guest Relations:
Greet guests with a friendly smile and welcoming attitude as they arrive.
Escort guests to their tables and present menus.
Answer queries related to the menu, daily specials, and cafe concept.
Maintain a positive and professional demeanor at all times.
Seating & Reservation Management:
Maintain an organized waitlist or reservation log (manual or system-based).
Manage table turnover efficiently, coordinating with stewards and captains.
Handle guest seating preferences and accommodate special requests when possible.
Inform guests of expected wait times during peak hours.
Ambience & Presentation:
Ensure the entrance, reception desk, and waiting area are neat, inviting, and well-maintained.
Update and display promotional material, menu cards, or special boards when needed.
Coordination & Communication:
Coordinate closely with the floor staff, kitchen, and cashier to ensure smooth guest flow.
Provide feedback to management on guest experiences or special concerns.
Assist in managing takeaway or delivery counter when required.
Qualifications & Skills:
1-3 years of experience as a hostess, receptionist, or guest relations executive in a restaurant, cafe, or hotel.
Fluent in English, Hindi, and local language; polite and articulate communication style.
Presentable appearance with excellent grooming standards.
Strong interpersonal skills and a warm, welcoming personality.
Basic computer knowledge or experience with reservation/waitlist apps is an advantage.
