Terns is seeking a polished and enthusiastic Front Desk Hostess to create a warm first impression and deliver exceptional guest experiences. You will be the face of Terns, welcoming guests, managing reservations, and ensuring smooth seating flow at the restobar.
Responsibilities:
Greet and welcome guests with a friendly, professional demeanor
Manage guest reservations, walk-ins, and waitlists efficiently
Coordinate seating with service staff to maintain a smooth flow
Answer phone calls and provide accurate information about menus, events, and offers
Handle guest queries and complaints with patience and professionalism
Maintain a clean and organized reception and waiting area
Support the operations team during peak hours
Requirements:
Mandatory prior experience as a hostess/front desk associate in a restaurant, lounge, or restobar
Familiarity with reservation and table management software (e.g., Eazydiner, OpenTable, or in-house POS systems)
Strong communication skills in English and Tamil (Hindi knowledge is an advantage)
Confident, well-groomed, and customer-service oriented
Ability to multitask in a high-energy, fast-paced environment
Flexible to work evenings, weekends, and holidays

Pay: ₹9,052.74 - ₹20,000.00 per month
