The Hostess will be the first point of contact for guests -- greeting them warmly, managing reservations, and ensuring they are seated comfortably. The ideal candidate should have excellent communication skills, a pleasant personality, and a strong sense of hospitality.

Responsibilities:

Welcome guests warmly and assist them with seating arrangements. Take and manage reservations, ensuring preferred seating when possible. Maintain guest history and note VIP or regular guest preferences. Present menus and assist guests with basic menu information. Coordinate with Captains and Stewards for smooth guest seating and service. Update the reservation diary accurately with guest details. Collect guest feedback and comment cards after service. Maintain cleanliness and presentation of the entrance and waiting area. Handle guest complaints politely and inform the manager if needed. Assist with basic service tasks during busy hours when required. Ensure professional grooming and a welcoming attitude at all times.

Requirements:

Minimum 1 year of experience in a similar position. Excellent communication and guest-handling skills. Pleasant personality and professional appearance. Good telephone manners and confidence in handling reservations. Knowledge of menu offerings and restaurant layout. Team player with a positive attitude and attention to detail. Immediate joiners preferred.
