To ensure every guest is bid fond farewell when they depart.
To ensure all arrival reports are printed in advance before the meal periods and properly recorded for records.
Have knowledge of all menu items, garnishes, contents and preparation methods
Assist guests regarding food and beverage menu items in an informative and helpful way
Understand shift end reports in the outlet and the POS system
Understand the Server's tasks in the outlet and perform other duties as assigned by leader.
Operational Management
Responsible for set up of all Buffets name tags, In house reports, restaurants administration, filling reports, and set up of hostess desk before the meal period.
Ensure to be familiar with all dishes on the menu.
In the absence of the Food & Beverage Supervisor ensure to take guest orders, advice guests on specials menu options.
Ability to work cohesively as part of a team
Must have very good communication and interpersonal skills.
As a Hostess in you will use your charm to carry out a natural conversation with guests without sounding scripted or intrusive.
Knowledge and Experience
Secondary / High school education / Hotel Management Degree
Additional certification(s) in Food & Beverage will be an advantage
Good reading, writing and oral proficiency in English language
Ability to speak other languages and basic understanding of local languages will be an advantage
Previous Hostess experience an asset
