Job Summary:

The Hostel Warden is responsible for managing the day-to-day operations of the hostel and ensuring the safety, discipline, and well-being of all residents. The warden acts as a mentor and authority figure, promoting a healthy, respectful, and disciplined environment.

Key Responsibilities:

Supervise and monitor employees/staff residing in the hostel. Ensure discipline, safety, and security of hostel residents. Maintain cleanliness, hygiene, and proper upkeep of hostel premises. Handle student grievances and resolve conflicts in a fair and prompt manner. Maintain records of hostel occupancy, attendance, and leave. Coordinate with the kitchen staff to ensure quality food and timely service. Report any maintenance issues to the relevant department and ensure timely resolution. Enforce rules and regulations of the hostel as per institutional guidelines. Conduct regular room inspections for cleanliness and compliance. Liaise with parents/guardians in case of emergencies or behavioral concerns. Assist during student admissions, allotment of rooms, and check-outs. Take charge in emergencies like fire, medical issues, or natural disasters.
