Job Description

:

As a Hostel Warden, you will oversee the overall management and smooth functioning of the hostel. You will ensure the welfare of the residents, execute administrative tasks, enforce discipline, and maintain the property's upkeep. Your role will involve interacting with residents and staff to foster a harmonious living environment.

Responsibilities :

Supervise the day-to-day operations of the hostel. Ensure the safety and security of all residents. Enforce hostel rules and regulations. Manage hostel staff, including hiring, training, and performance reviews. Resolve conflicts and address concerns raised by residents. Oversee maintenance and cleanliness of the hostel premises. Maintain accurate records and documentation related to hostel activities. Coordinate with external vendors for hostel supplies and services. Organize hostel events and activities to promote community engagement. Handle emergencies and crises situations effectively.

Qualifications :

Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Hospitality Management, or a related field. Prior experience in hostel or dormitory management is preferred. Strong leadership and interpersonal skills. Excellent organizational and administrative abilities. Ability to handle stressful situations and resolve conflicts amicably. Good written and verbal communication skills. Sound judgment and decision-making capabilities. Basic knowledge of health and safety regulations.
