Job responsibilities:

Ensure the safety and security of hostel residents. Monitor access to the hostel and enforce security protocols. Foster a positive and supportive living environment for students. Address and resolve conflicts among residents. Provide counseling and support to students facing personal or academic challenges. Enforce hostel rules and regulations. Communicate and educate residents about the expectations and guidelines. Take appropriate action in case of rule violations. Oversee the maintenance and cleanliness of hostel facilities. Coordinate repairs and improvements as needed. Ensure that all amenities are in working order. Serve as a liaison between hostel residents and administrative staff. Communicate important information to residents, such as schedules, events, and policy changes. Be prepared to respond to emergencies, such as medical incidents or natural disasters. Coordinate with relevant authorities and emergency services when necessary. Maintain accurate records of hostel residents. Keep track of any incidents, conflicts, or disciplinary actions. Organize and facilitate community-building activities and events. Promote a sense of belonging and camaraderie among hostel residents. Handle administrative tasks related to hostel operations. Report to higher authorities regarding the status of the hostel and any notable issues.

Skills:

Minimum 2yrs exp as a warden required. Minimum Graduation Required. Good knowledge of excel & Word. Knowledge of email writing.
