- Warden (Male)

Institution: Uttaranchal Dental & Medical Research Institute & Hospital, Dehradun

Location: UDMRI Campus, Dehradun

Type: Full-Time (Residential Preferred)

Job Summary:

The Warden will be responsible for maintaining discipline, safety, and overall well-being of hostel residents (students and staff) within the campus. The role requires strong leadership, vigilance, and administrative skills to ensure smooth hostel operations. Preference will be given to ex-Army personnel or individuals with experience in security or institutional management.

Key Responsibilities:

Oversee the daily functioning of the boys' hostel, ensuring discipline, hygiene, and orderliness. Maintain a secure and positive living environment for students. Monitor entry and exit of hostel residents and visitors; ensure adherence to hostel rules. Handle student grievances and coordinate with college administration. Supervise housekeeping, maintenance, and security staff. Maintain records of attendance, complaints, and disciplinary actions. Conduct regular rounds, especially during night hours. Ensure compliance with institute policies and safety protocols. Assist in emergency situations and ensure first aid readiness. Report regularly to the Administration and Principal Office.

Experience:

Minimum 3 years of relevant experience; ex-Army / ex-Security Forces personnel highly preferred.

Skills:

Strong discipline and administrative ability. Good communication and interpersonal skills. Ability to manage students tactfully and fairly. Familiarity with safety and emergency procedures.
