About the Role

We are looking for a responsible, disciplined, and student-friendly

Hostel Warden

to manage the day-to-day operations of our residential school hostel. The ideal candidate must ensure safety, discipline, cleanliness, and a positive environment for all boarders.

Key Responsibilities1. Student Management & Discipline

Maintain discipline among students and ensure adherence to hostel rules. Supervise daily routines including wake-up, study hours, dining, and bedtime. Monitor students' behaviour and wellbeing, and handle conflicts or concerns promptly.

2. Safety & Security

Ensure the safety of all boarders and maintain regular headcount. Monitor student movement during in-time/out-time, outings, and emergencies. Maintain proper records of attendance, late entries, permissions, and leave.

3. Hostel Administration

Oversee cleanliness of rooms, washrooms, and hostel premises. Coordinate with housekeeping, maintenance, and security teams. Report repairs, maintenance needs, or any deviations immediately to the management.

4. Health & Wellbeing

Provide first-level support for sick students and coordinate with the school nurse/medical team. Maintain a friendly and approachable environment so students feel comfortable sharing concerns.

5. Communication & Reporting

Submit daily/weekly reports on boarder attendance, activities, and any incidents. Communicate regularly with parents regarding student behaviour, health, and leave. Coordinate with academic staff, counsellors, and management for student welfare.

Requirements

Minimum

Graduate

(Science/Yoga/Nursing/Sports). Prior experience as a

Hostel Warden / Residential Facility Manager

preferred. Strong leadership and communication skills. Ability to manage adolescents/children with patience and discipline. Physically fit and available 24/7 on campus. High sense of responsibility, integrity, and alertness.
