Job Summary

:
We are seeking a dedicated, disciplined, and responsible Hostel Incharge to oversee the daily operations of the school hostel. The ideal candidate should ensure the safety, discipline, and well-being of students residing in the hostel, while maintaining a positive, nurturing, and home-like atmosphere.

Key Responsibilities

:
Ensure the safety, discipline, and well-being of hostel students at all times

Monitor hostel rules and regulations, and maintain daily attendance and discipline

Provide pastoral care and act as a guardian figure to the hostel students

Maintain records of hostel inventory, maintenance, and cleanliness

Oversee the quality of food and hygiene in the mess/canteen

Handle medical emergencies and ensure students' health needs are addressed promptly

Organize regular counseling sessions, activities, or meetings with students for emotional well-being

Coordinate with school authorities, parents, and staff when necessary

Supervise hostel staff (wardens, helpers, cooks, cleaners, etc.) and ensure smooth functioning

Be available on-call 24x7 in case of emergency

Qualifications

Requirements

:
Bachelor's degree (preferred); background in education, psychology, or social work is a plus

Minimum 2 years of experience in a similar role (experience in a school setting preferred)

Strong leadership and organizational skills

Excellent communication and problem-solving abilities

Must be disciplined, empathetic, and responsible

Male/Female candidates can apply (as per hostel type - Boys/Girls)

Residential accommodation will be provided on campus

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: ?8,000.00 - ?10,000.00 per month
