Job Summary:



The Hospital Receptionist is the first point of contact for patients and visitors. The role involves welcoming patients, managing appointments, handling inquiries, and supporting smooth front-desk operations while maintaining patient confidentiality and providing excellent customer service.

Key Responsibilities:



Greet and assist patients, visitors, and vendors in a courteous and professional manner Register patients and verify personal, insurance, and billing information Schedule, reschedule, and confirm patient appointments Answer phone calls and respond to inquiries or route them to appropriate departments Maintain and update patient records accurately in hospital systems Manage front desk documentation, files, and daily logs Handle billing queries, collect payments (if applicable), and issue receipts Coordinate with doctors, nurses, and other hospital staff Ensure patient confidentiality and comply with healthcare regulations Maintain cleanliness and organization of the reception area

Required Qualifications:



High school diploma or equivalent (Associate degree preferred) Prior experience as a receptionist or front-desk executive (healthcare experience preferred) Basic knowledge of hospital operations and medical terminology is an advantage

Skills & Competencies:



Excellent communication and interpersonal skills Strong customer service orientation Proficiency in MS Office and hospital management systems Ability to multitask and work under pressure Attention to detail and accuracy Professional appearance and attitude

Work Conditions:



May involve shift work, including weekends or holidays Prolonged periods of sitting and computer use

Compensation:



As per hospital policy and experience
Job Types: Full-time, Permanent, Fresher

Pay: ?10,000.00 - ?15,000.00 per month
