Greet and direct patients, visitors, and vendors.
Answer, screen, and forward incoming phone calls.
Assist with patient admissions, registration, and discharge.
Comfort anxious patients and answer inquiries.
Administrative & Clerical:
Schedule, confirm, and manage appointments and follow-ups.
Maintain and update patient records and Electronic Health Records (EHR).
Handle filing, data entry, and general office organization.
Manage office supplies and inventory.
Financial & Billing:
Verify insurance coverage and process claims.
Collect patient payments, co-pays, and handle billing inquiries.
Coordination & Confidentiality:
Liaise with doctors, nurses, and other departments.
Ensure all tasks comply with HIPAA and maintain patient confidentiality.
Essential SkillsStrong communication & customer service, Organizational & multitasking skills, Proficiency in Microsoft Office & medical software, and Discretion & professionalism.
