Job Summary



The Receptionist / Front Desk Executive will be the first point of contact for patients and visitors. The role involves handling patient enquiries, appointment booking, communication coordination, and ensuring a smooth front-office experience. Candidates must have experience in healthcare settings with strong communication and customer-service skills.

Key ResponsibilitiesFront Desk & Patient Interaction



Greet patients and visitors warmly and professionally. Register patients and update records in the hospital system. Provide accurate information about hospital services, departments, timings, and processes. Handle incoming calls, messages, and walk-in enquiries efficiently.

Appointment & Scheduling



Manage doctor appointments, scheduling, and rescheduling. Confirm patient appointments and coordinate with doctors and nursing staff. Ensure timely flow of patients to consultation rooms.

Communication & Coordination



Respond to patient queries with clarity, empathy, and accuracy. Coordinate with departments such as laboratory, pharmacy, billing, and clinical units. Maintain good communication between patients and healthcare staff.

Convincing & Service Handling



Provide guidance to patients regarding available services and procedures. Support patients in understanding treatment packages or diagnostic services. Assist in resolving complaints or redirecting them to appropriate departments.

Administrative Duties



Maintain front desk cleanliness and a professional environment. Manage appointment registers, call logs, and daily reports. Assist in billing support, payment handling, and document filing when required.

Required Skills & Qualifications



1-3 years of mandatory experience in a healthcare/hospital front office.

Excellent communication and interpersonal skills. Strong convincing and customer-handling capabilities. Proficiency in appointment booking systems or hospital management software (HMS). Ability to multitask and stay calm in a fast-paced environment. Professional appearance and patient-friendly attitude.

Working Hours



Full-time (Shift-based) Flexibility to work weekends or holidays as per hospital schedule.
