Job Description

Dispensing Medications:

Preparing and dispensing medications according to a physician's prescription, ensuring accuracy and proper labeling.

Patient Counseling:

Providing information about medications, including dosage, administration, side effects, and potential drug interactions.

Medication Management:

Reviewing patient profiles to identify potential drug interactions, contraindications, and allergies.

Inventory Management:

Maintaining and ordering medications and supplies, ensuring adequate stock and proper storage.

Record Keeping:

Maintaining accurate patient and pharmacy records, including prescription information and medication profiles.

Collaboration:

Working with physicians and other healthcare professionals to optimize patient care and medication therapy.

Quality Control:

Ensuring medications are dispensed and stored properly, following regulatory guidelines.

Patient Education:

Providing information and education to patients about their medications, treatment plans, and overall health.

Administering Vaccinations:

Administering various vaccinations, such as flu shots, in accordance with regulations and protocols.
