Job Description

We are looking for a qualified and responsible Pharmacist to join our healthcare team. The Ideal candidate will ensure the safe and effective use of medications, maintain accurate record, and provide guidance to patients and healthcare staff.

KEY RESPOSIBLITIES

Accurately dispense prescriptions and verify dosages. Review prescriptions for potential drug interactions or contraindications. Counsel patients on medication usage, dosage, and side effects. Manage pharmacy inventory and maintain stock levels. Monitor expiry dates and ensure proper drug storage conditions. Coordinate with doctors and nurses regarding drug availability. Maintain records for controlled substances as per statutory requirements. Support audits, documentation, and compliance with hospital and government norms.---

Qualifications

Bachelor's or Diploma in Pharmacy (B.Pharm / D.Pharm). Valid registration with the State Pharmacy Council. 1-3 years of experience in hospital or clinical pharmacy preferred. Freshers may also apply (if applicable).

Skills

Strong knowledge of pharmaceuticals and medical terminology. Excellent attention to detail and accuracy. Good communication and patient service skills. Ability to work in a fast-paced hospital environment.
