Key Responsibilities:
Dispense prescription and over-the-counter medications accurately.
Review and interpret physician orders and prescriptions.
Counsel patients on medication usage, side effects, and storage.
Monitor for potential drug interactions, contraindications, and allergies.
Maintain accurate patient records and pharmacy inventory.
Ensure compliance with all applicable pharmacy laws and regulations.
Collaborate with healthcare providers to optimize patient care.
Supervise pharmacy technicians and support staff.
Maintain cleanliness and safety standards within the pharmacy.
Qualifications:
Bachelor's Degree in Pharmacy (B.Pharm) or Doctor of Pharmacy (Pharm.D).
Valid Pharmacist License [mention licensing body, e.g., State Pharmacy Council].
Previous experience in retail, hospital, or clinical pharmacy preferred.
Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities.
Proficient in pharmacy software and systems.
