To act as a liaison between patients and the hospital, ensuring smooth communication, efficient services, and overall patient satisfaction throughout their stay or visit.
Key Responsibilities:
Greet and assist patients and their families in a courteous and professional manner
Coordinate patient admissions, discharges, and transfers as per protocol
Guide patients through procedures, billing, diagnostics, and consultation flow
Act as a single point of contact for patients regarding treatment updates, scheduling, and follow-ups
Coordinate between departments (doctor's consultation, nursing, diagnostics, pharmacy, billing, etc.) for timely service
Handle patient complaints, feedback, and grievances professionally and escalate when necessary
Maintain accurate patient records, files, and necessary documentation
Assist in explaining hospital policies, services, and costs to patients and caregivers
Ensure VIP and international patient protocols are followed (if applicable)
Maintain confidentiality of patient data and uphold hospital ethics at all times
Qualifications & Skills:
Any graduate degree (Healthcare or Administration background preferred)
Minimum 1-2 years of experience in hospital or healthcare service coordination
Excellent communication (English, Tamil - preferred) and interpersonal skills
Strong multitasking and problem-solving abilities
Good computer knowledge (MS Office, Hospital ERP preferred)
Patient-centric and empathetic approach
