Job Summary:

The Hospital Operations Manager will be responsible for overseeing the overall functioning and efficiency of hospital operations, ensuring high-quality patient care, staff coordination, and adherence to hospital policies. The role requires strong leadership, planning, and decision-making skills to manage day-to-day operations in a multi-specialty healthcare environment.

Key Responsibilities:

Oversee daily hospital operations including OPD, IPD, diagnostics, pharmacy, housekeeping, security, and support services. Ensure smooth coordination between clinical and non-clinical departments. Monitor patient flow, admission, discharge, and billing processes to ensure efficient turnaround times. Supervise staff scheduling, performance, and adherence to hospital policies. Implement and maintain quality control, patient safety, and service standards as per NABH or other accreditation requirements. Manage vendor relationships, facility maintenance, and procurement coordination. Work closely with the management to plan and execute hospital growth strategies and process improvements. Analyze operational data and prepare reports for senior management. Address patient grievances and ensure excellent patient experience. Ensure compliance with all statutory, regulatory, and safety norms.

Qualifications & Experience:

Bachelor's degree in Hospital Administration, Healthcare Management, or a related field (MBA/MHA preferred). 5-8 years of proven experience in hospital operations, preferably in a multi-specialty setup. Strong understanding of healthcare systems, hospital workflows, and accreditation processes. Excellent leadership, organizational, and communication skills. Ability to manage multiple departments and drive efficiency under pressure. Proficiency in hospital management software and MS Office tools.
