Job Description

Job Summary:



The Front Desk Receptionist is the first point of contact for patients and visitors at StemRx. This role involves managing patient communication, OPD & IPD scheduling, coordinating billing and TPA documentation, and ensuring smooth front desk operations.

Key Responsibilities:

1.

Patient Call Handling:



Attend all incoming calls promptly and professionally. Address patient inquiries regarding services, appointments, and procedures. Redirect calls to appropriate departments or consultants as needed.
2.

OPD (Outpatient Department) Scheduling:



Maintain and update the OPD consultation calendar for all doctors. Confirm OPD appointments with patients via call or message. Coordinate with doctors and departments to avoid scheduling conflicts.
3.

IPD (Inpatient Department) Scheduling:



Assist in coordinating admissions and discharges with the IPD team. Prepare admission documents and guide patients through the process. Maintain and update the IPD room/bed allocation list.
4.

Billing Assistance:



Support the billing department with accurate patient and procedure details. Generate bills for consultations, procedures, and services when required. Handle payment collection at the front desk and issue receipts.
5.

TPA (Third Party Administrator) Coordination:



Collect and submit necessary documentation for TPA claims. Liaise with patients and the billing department to ensure timely claim submissions. Follow up on pre-authorizations and approvals from insurance providers.
6.

Front Desk & Lobby Management:



Greet patients and visitors warmly and guide them appropriately. Maintain a clean, organized, and welcoming reception area. Manage patient check-ins and check-outs efficiently.

Skills & Competencies:



Strong communication skills (English, Hindi, Marathi preferred). Excellent organizational and multitasking abilities. Basic computer knowledge (MS Office, HIMS/CRM preferred). Ability to handle stressful situations calmly and professionally. Empathy, patience, and a service-oriented attitude.

Qualifications:



Minimum Graduation preferred. Prior experience in hospital front desk/reception or healthcare setting preferred. Knowledge of medical terms, billing, and insurance processes is an added advantage.

Pay: ?16,000.00 - ?25,000.00 per month
