:
Oversee daily hospital operations to ensure efficient delivery of services.
Help Administrator/CEO in Developing and implement policies and procedures to maintain high standards of patient care and hospital Depts.
Key Responsibilities of a Hospital Auditor:
Financial Audits:
Examining financial statements, ledgers, and transaction records for accuracy and adherence to financial regulations.
Medical Record Audits:
Analyzing medical records to ensure proper coding, documentation, and billing practices.
Compliance Audits:
Verifying that the hospital is adhering to relevant regulations, guidelines, and industry standards.
Fraud Detection:
Identifying and investigating potential cases of fraud or abuse in financial and medical billing practices.
Process Improvement:
Making recommendations for process improvements to enhance efficiency, reduce errors, and improve compliance.
Reporting and Communication:
Preparing audit reports, communicating findings to stakeholders, and providing training on best practices.
Clinical Audits:
Participating in clinical audits to assess the quality and effectiveness of patient care, according to Indeed.
Audit Support:
Assisting in internal and external audits to ensure financial accuracy and integrity.
Required Qualifications
:
Proven experience (usually 5+ years) in hospital or healthcare management.
In-depth knowledge of healthcare office standards.
Strong leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills.
Ability to support internal team & patient Management.
Certification as a Certified Professional Medical Auditor (CPMA) or Certified Healthcare Auditor (CHA) having worked with corporate Hospital with Experience not less than 5 Years
or Holding Professional certifications like CPA, CIA, or CISA having worked with corporate Hospital with Experience not less than 6 Years
Working Conditions
:
Full-time position with a standard workweek, though evening or weekend hours may be required for emergency situations or on-call duties.
Ability to work in a fast-paced, high-pressure environment.
