Job Overview: Hospital Attender / General Duty Assistant (GDA)

Reporting to:

Nursing/Administrative Supervisor

Salary:

?15,000/month

Key Responsibilities:

Patient Shifting:

Assist in transferring patients between wards, diagnostic areas, and operation theaters. Use stretchers or wheelchairs as required. Ensure patient safety and comfort during movement.

File Handling:

Transport patient files, reports, and documents between departments. Maintain confidentiality and proper file management.

Medicine Support:

Assist nursing staff in collecting and delivering prescribed medications from the pharmacy. Support in organizing medication trays (under supervision).

Lab Coordination:

Carry patient samples (blood, urine, etc.) to the lab. Collect and deliver lab reports to the concerned departments.

Other Duties:

Maintain cleanliness and hygiene in patient areas as directed. Provide basic non-clinical support to nursing and medical staff. Respond promptly to requests from supervisors.

Working Hours (Rotational Shifts):

8:00 AM to 5:00 PM 9:00 AM to 6:00 PM 10:00 AM to 7:00 PM 11:00 AM to 8:00 PM
