Job Summary
Calida Rehabilitation Centre is seeking a highly responsible Hospital Administrator to manage end-to-end operations of a 70-bedded residential mental health and de-addiction rehabilitation centre at Karjat. The role covers operations, administration, staff supervision, facilities management, logistics, clinical coordination, patient services, and day-to-day problem resolution. The ideal candidate is hands-on, mature, disciplined, and capable of independently running the centre while closely coordinating with senior management and clinical leadership.
Key Responsibilities
Hospital Operations Management:
Take complete ownership of daily operations of the Karjat rehabilitation centre.
Ensure smooth, uninterrupted functioning of all clinical and non-clinical departments.
Act as the single point of contact for on-ground administrative and operational matters.
Clinical & Multidisciplinary Team Coordination:
Coordinate with visiting psychiatrists, Resident Medical Officers, psychologists, nursing staff, and therapy teams.
Ensure adherence to clinical schedules, ward rounds, treatment plans, and patient-care workflows.
Provide operational and logistical support to the clinical team to enable high-quality patient care.
Facility & Infrastructure Management:
Oversee facility maintenance, repairs, utilities, housekeeping standards, and vendor coordination.
Ensure cleanliness, hygiene, safety, and infection control standards across the campus.
Implement and monitor preventive maintenance schedules for hospital equipment and infrastructure.
Staff Supervision & HR Support:
Supervise housekeeping, security, kitchen, and support staff on a day-to-day basis.
Ensure discipline, duty rosters, shift management, attendance tracking, and task completion.
Train staff on SOPs, hygiene, safety, professional conduct, and patient-handling protocols.
Kitchen & Food Services Oversight:
Oversee kitchen operations, food quality, and dietary schedules for patients and staff.
Ensure food safety, hygiene, inventory control, and coordination of special dietary needs.
Patient Services, Logistics & Support:
Coordinate patient admissions, discharges, transfers, referrals, and transportation.
Handle patient and family logistics with sensitivity, confidentiality, and service orientation.
Safety, Security & Compliance:
Ensure safety, security, and emergency preparedness for fire, medical, and behavioural incidents.
Document and report incidents such as disturbances, accidents, or security breaches.
Ensure compliance with internal hospital policies, SOPs, and applicable statutory regulations.
Administration, Documentation & Reporting:
Maintain operational records, logs, inventories, and MIS reports.
Share regular updates with management on operations, risks, incidents, and improvement actions.
Handle confidential information, patient data, and staff records ethically and securely.
Qualifications & Experience:
Bachelor's degree or MBA in Hospital Administration, Healthcare Management, Operations Management, or related field (preferred).
1-3 years of experience in hospital administration, healthcare operations, rehabilitation centres, facility management, hostels, or similar residential setups.
Freshers with a strong educational background and proven leadership attitude may be considered.
Mandatory willingness to stay full-time on campus in Karjat (residential role).
