What's the Job?

As our

Horticulturist - Farm Operations

, you'll be the heart of our farm, living on-site at Veltoor to care for our plants and land. This role is for a sharp, hands-on expert with a big heart--someone who knows and loves sustainable agronomy practices, knows horticulture inside out, and wants to solve real challenges. You'll work closely with our team and workers to grow healthy plantations while supporting our mission to restore the planet. If you're passionate about nature and people, this is your calling!

What You'll Do

You'll roll up your sleeves and work with our team to:

Plant Care & Management

: Run daily farm tasks with eco-friendly practices to keep plants thriving. Oversee planting, pruning, and harvesting, especially for fruit trees. Use your horticulture skills to ensure our plantations grow strong and healthy.

Field Operations Leadership

: Do hands-on supervision on the field and quick problem-solving. Build trust and teamwork with field workers through clear communication.

Tracking & Reporting

: Keep detailed records of crops, resources, and challenges. Share regular, clear reports on farm progress and ideas to improve.

Healthy & Sustainable Farms

: Check soil, water, pests, and nutrients to keep crops in top shape. Team up with experts to bring in green, innovative farming methods.

Who We Want

We're looking for a sharp brain and empathetic human who:

Has a Bachelor's / Master's degree in Horticulture, Agriculture, Forestry, or a related field. Brings 1-3 years of hands-on experience in plantation or horticulture management. Knows modern farming--soil health, irrigation, pest control, and nutrients. Speaks fluent Telugu and English to connect with workers and teams. Can do digital documentation () clearly and write actionable reports. Solves problems with a proactive, can-do attitude. Cares deeply about sustainable farming and restoring nature.
